Lemarpol Forklifts Ltd.
“Lemarpol Forklifts” Ltd. – we are the largest dealer of Manitou, BYD, and Combilift in Europe.
When, 25 years ago, we issued an invoice for the sale of our first forklift, we probably didn’t anticipate that, a quarter of a century later, our company would achieve such spectacular business success. From the very beginning, we have strived to maintain a healthy balance between the dynamics of development and the stability of our business.
At the outset, we focused on delivering modern products of good quality and price. Over time, we began to expand our services towards greater complexity. By observing the market, we always strive to adapt to our customers.
Our Success
Currently, we have over 1,000 machines in stock and three branches in Zator, Warsaw, and Poznań, allowing us to offer both sales and short- and long-term rentals to our customers. Thanks to our developed service network and spare parts logistics, we are able to reach even the most remote locations in Poland with our services.
Cooperation with Manitou, the global leader in the production of agricultural, construction, and industrial machinery, has proven to be a great success. We quickly became the largest dealer of this brand in Europe. The range of available equipment includes not only internal combustion counterbalance forklifts but also electric, all-terrain, telescopic forklifts, as well as aerial platforms. These machines are highly regarded by our customers.
We continue to move forward, and in 2024, we became an authorized dealer for the advanced and innovative BYD brand. Although it is a Chinese product, we can confidently say that it is a premium brand of electric vehicles, currently (as of 2024) outpacing its competitors in production and sales, including the American Tesla.
In parallel with BYD, we became a dealer of Combilift, an Irish manufacturer of four-way side-loaders designed for transporting goods with very ‘inconvenient’ dimensions, such as containers or long steel structures. This allows them to store these goods while maintaining the smallest possible aisles, which ultimately increases warehouse space.
We manufacture modular cabins of our own design for all types of forklifts, have our own spare parts store for these machines, professionally equipped workshops at our branches, and approximately 100 mechanics distributed across Poland. All this makes us a very comprehensive company in the field of material handling, capable of supplying customers with everything from the smallest parts, through manual pallet trucks, forklifts, to powerful loaders.
Modernity
One of the driving forces behind Lemarpol is modernity. From the very beginning of our operations, we have focused on modern solutions. Thanks to our new company headquarters in the Economic Activity Zone in Zator, we have improved the preparatory processes for the equipment we sell. What’s more, we have purchased new machines and devices that facilitate and shorten the entire process of production, sales, and service. Additionally, we have organized the work in our workshops according to Lean Management procedures. The introduction of the new Comotel software, which integrates all processes within the company, has also been of significant importance.
Challenges
We do not rest on our laurels. We objectively assess our situation. In Lemarpol’s strategy, we strive to implement the principle that even when things are going well, they can always get better. There are many elements that can be improved and refined. One of the most important goals for the near future is to expand our rental service, both short- and long-term, on a “full-service” basis. This is a great opportunity and a chance for the growth of our company. More and more entities are interested in outsourcing full technical service to professionals. We are counting on attracting an even larger group of customers, especially in this segment.
Despite our spectacular growth and successes, we remain true to our business DNA. We are still a family-owned company with Polish capital, where a good atmosphere, fair working conditions, and healthy business principles matter. Looking back, we can confidently say that we chose the right path.

Winner of Best Managed Companies Poland 2022
During the Grand Gala on June 8th in Warsaw, the winners of the first edition of the Best Managed Companies Poland 2022 competition were presented. We were honored to be among the 18 Polish companies!
Best Managed Companies is a unique competition established in 1993 by Deloitte Private in Canada. In 2022, the Polish edition was launched. The main goal of the initiative is to identify private Polish companies that achieve excellent results through the best management practices.
The present times, characterized by dynamic changes, require effective leadership. Private company owners know this best. But are they able to objectively assess the efficiency of their company’s management and identify areas for improvement? The answers to these questions certainly come from the workshops as part of the “Best Managed Companies” competition.Every year, thousands of private companies worldwide participate in an independent competition, during which they undergo a rigorous verification process. Their competencies, processes, and strategies are analyzed in relation to the best management practices used in private companies worldwide. Leaders are not afraid of comparison because they know that by participating in the program, they can only gain. Do they risk anything? If so, it’s only a greater awareness of identified areas to modernize or that they are the best-managed companies on the market.
The winners of the competition are selected by an independent jury, and the entire process is transparent and objective, thanks to a proven system that has been functioning globally for 30 years. It allows the assessment of each company’s management skills and practices in four areas: strategy, innovation, organizational culture, and financial results.
Participants will receive an independent evaluation of their operations against the best management practices used in private companies worldwide.
Companies recognized as best-managed are awarded the title of “Best Managed Company,” thus becoming part of the global elite. Winning the competition brings many benefits: it strengthens the image, brand recognition, and public interest.
